The most important thing is to know your students and know your school. This helps your yearbook group reach people they don’t know. Keep a spreadsheet of all students, with information about what groups they are involved in, who bought a book, are they in the book yet, etc.
Create a list containing the following:
• Name
• Phone number (advisor access only)
• Grade
• Have they bought a book?
• What activities are they in?
• Record the pages they appear on in the book
• Social media handles (twitter, Instagram)
By tracking the students, it personalizes the coverage/content in your book, it's easy to find the appropriate people to interview for content and allows you to include so many different students.
