As you build and organize your content, make sure you're budgeting space for everything that you'll need:

• Portraits (generally 25-30% of your book)
• Student Life (25-30%)
• Academics and Organizations (15-20%)
• Sports (15-20%)
• Clubs (10-15%)
• Ads, index, and staff pages

If you're including sidebars or secondary coverage, factor that into your page ladder. And don’t forget the essentials: title page, opening, dividers, closing, and colophon.
